The DW11 writing desk + CH12 chair explores the limitations of timber by whittling members back to their bare minimum. Components are shaped to emphasise the leanness of the form, while the desk top remains light-weight through the use of a honeycomb cardboard core.
The desk defines an open space beneath its floating top using a combination of curves; the chair compliments this space with minimal intrusion via the woven seat.
